Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay Rate: $18 – $25 per hour (based on experience, certifications, and assignment)
Position Summary
We are seeking professional, reliable, and adaptable Armed and Unarmed Flex Security Officers to join our team. Flex Officers provide coverage for multiple client sites and assignments as needed, making this role ideal for individuals who are dependable, flexible, and capable of working in diverse environments.
The Flex Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by conducting patrols, monitoring property, enforcing site-specific policies, and responding to incidents professionally and efficiently.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide security coverage at various client locations as assigned.
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols on foot or by vehicle.
- Monitor and authorize access to facilities and property.
- Observe and report suspicious activities, hazards, and security violations.
- Complete detailed incident, activity, and daily reports.
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, and disturbances.
- Enforce client rules, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients, visitors, employees, and law enforcement when necessary.

QualificationsRequired:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
For Armed Assignments:
- Valid state-issued armed security license/certification.
- Current firearms qualification and training.
- Ability to legally carry and use a firearm while on duty.
For Unarmed Assignments:
- Valid state-issued security license (if required by state law).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous military, law enforcement, corrections, or security experience.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Experienced security officer with access control knowledge, CCTV, and report writing experience.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Maintain alertness and situational awareness throughout shifts.
