Construction Sales Estimator

Pay: Starting at $35 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Full-time, long-term opportunity

Reborn Construction is seeking an experienced, motivated Construction Sales Estimator to join our growing team.

We complete a broad range of projects, including custom home construction, residential remodels and additions, roofing and exterior work, and select light commercial and tenant-improvement projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong construction background who can build trust with clients, create clear and accurate estimates, and help move opportunities from initial meeting through signed contract.

This position has meaningful long-term growth potential. Based on performance, experience, individual strengths, and company needs, opportunities may include expanded sales and estimating responsibilities, project management, or increased leadership responsibility within Reborn Construction.

Responsibilities

Meet with homeowners, property owners, and prospective clients to discuss project needs
Conduct site visits; gather measurements, photographs, and other project details
Develop accurate, detailed scopes of work and construction estimates
Review plans, specifications, project requirements, and construction documents
Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients
Follow up on estimates and assist clients through the sales process toward contract execution
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain pricing
Use JobTread to prepare estimates and manage project information
Identify potential scope gaps, cost concerns, constructability issues, and project risks before construction begins
Provide organized handoffs from sales and estimating to the production team
Maintain professional, responsive communication with customers throughout the estimating process
Collaborate with office and production teams to support successful project starts

Project Types

Projects may include:

Custom home builds
Residential remodels and renovations
Home additions
Kitchen and bathroom remodels
Roofing projects
Exterior construction and repairs
Structural and general construction
Light commercial construction
Tenant improvements
Other residential and small-commercial construction work

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of residential construction practices and processes
Construction estimating experience preferred
Sales, customer-service, or client-facing construction experience preferred
Ability to read plans, specifications, and construction documents
Ability to create detailed scopes of work and accurate estimates
Strong communication skills with homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and internal teams
Strong organization, follow-up, and time-management skills
Comfortable using computers and construction-management software
Self-motivated, accountable, professional, and detail-oriented
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Experience

The following experience is helpful but not required:

Custom home building
Roofing
Light commercial construction or tenant improvements
Project management
JobTread or comparable estimating/project-management software

Candidates do not need to be experts in every type of project we perform. We are looking for someone with a solid construction foundation, sound judgment, strong customer communication skills, and a desire to continue learning and growing.

Compensation and Growth

Starting pay is $35 per hour, with opportunities for increased compensation, advancement, and additional responsibility based on performance, experience, ability, and the value you bring to the company.

Additional discretionary compensation may be available based on individual contribution and overall company performance.
