Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Front Desk Housekeeper, where your energy and dedication will create a welcoming environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact, ensuring guest satisfaction through exceptional customer service and efficient front desk operations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help maintain the smooth functioning of our hotel, contributing to memorable guest experiences from check-in to check-out. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills while working in a vibrant, guest-focused setting.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms.
Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest information, and billing details while ensuring data security.
Assist with guest services by providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are cleaned and prepared according to guest preferences and standards.
Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety during unforeseen incidents or emergencies.
Support night audit activities, reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports for management review.
Use multilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse guests, enhancing overall guest relations and satisfaction.

Qualifications

Prior experience in hotel management or hospitality roles is preferred, especially within resort or hotel environments.
Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), particularly OPERA or similar platforms.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently.
Excellent communication abilities, including phone communication and multi-line phone system operation.
Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele.
Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices is a plus.
Experience with night audit processes and resort operations is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to handle customer inquiries professionally while maintaining a positive attitude in fast-paced settings.
