Safe Industries is seeking a Collision Repair Estimator / Customer Service Representative to inspect vehicle damage, prepare accurate repair estimates, and coordinate communication among customers, technicians, shop leadership, and insurance representatives.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the vehicle repair process, communicates well with customers and insurance contacts, and can help keep repair work moving accurately and efficiently from estimate through completion.

Inspect damaged vehicles to assess visible structural, body, mechanical, interior, and related damage.

Prepare accurate repair estimates, including labor, parts, materials, sublet work, and other repairrelated costs.

Identify repair or replacement needs based on vehicle condition, repair standards, shop procedures, and estimating resources.

Review estimates with the Service Manager, Foreman, or other designated leader when additional review or approval is needed.

Update repair estimates when additional damage or repair needs are identified during the repair process.

Communicate professionally with customers regarding estimate status, repair updates, cost changes, timeline adjustments, documentation needs, and next steps.

Coordinate with insurance adjusters and claims representatives regarding estimate review, supplemental approvals, documentation requests, and repair authorization.

Coordinate with technicians, parts personnel, shop leadership, and administrative staff to support accurate and efficient repair workflow.

Maintain accurate estimate records, customer communication notes, insurance correspondence, repair documentation, and related files.

Follow company procedures related to estimating, customer communication, repair documentation, safety, and operational workflow.

Protect customer information and handle claim details, repair information, and related documentation professionally and confidentially.

Experience in collision repair estimating, automotive repair, service advising, insurance claims, or a closely related role.

Working knowledge of vehicle repair processes, damage assessment, repair terminology, parts/labor estimating, and body shop workflow.

Ability to prepare accurate repair estimates and communicate estimate details clearly to customers, internal teams, and insurance representatives.

Strong customer service, communication, documentation, and followup skills.

Ability to use estimating software, email, phones, and standard computer systems.

Ability to read, interpret, and communicate repair information, insurance documentation, and estimate changes.

Ability to work safely in and around a repair shop environment.

Experience with estimating software.

Experience working with insurance adjusters, claims representatives, or direct repair program processes.

Estimating, or related automotive/collision repair training or certification.

Prior experience in a body shop, fleet service, dealership, or automotive repair environment.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Work is performed in office, customer service, shop, and vehicle inspection environments.

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and visually inspect vehicles as required to assess damage and document repair needs.

Must be able to use computers, phones, estimating software, cameras or mobile devices, and standard office equipment.

May enter or work around active repair areas where vehicles, tools, equipment, noise, dust, fumes, and moving operations may be present.

Must follow safety rules and use required personal protective equipment when entering repair areas.
