Full Job Description

Job Title: Multi Trade Technician/Production Team Member

Company: Industrial Powder Coating

Job Type: Full time, long term 1099 Position

Pay: Starting at $50/hour

Location: Cleveland, TN & Calhoun, TN

Industrial Powder Coating is a fast-growing startup entering our 4th year.

Daily Responsibilities:

Morning Alignment Meeting: what gets blasted and coated, in what order and why.
Material Handling: moving parts up to 8000lbs with a telehandler and skid steer. You must give your task at hand 100% attention.
Sandblasting: in a blasting suit in a booth. Physically intense (like holding a fireman’s hose for hours), and even inside the booth you have to stay methodical; what’s next, what prep does it need, what’s the sequence.
Powder Coating: hanging parts for maximum efficiency per oven cycle, thinking through coating sequence, powder thickness, and bake time.
Driving: we primarily pick up and deliver for our customers.
We run a zero-defect shop. Nothing goes out of the door with a flaw.
Everyone must learn and master every role. Our customer first, team first mentality means you have the opportunity to fill every role at any given time.
Production MIG Welding.

Overall Responsibilities:

Operate sandblasting and powder coating equipment safely and efficiently
Strong sense of ownership-your work matters here
Learn and master tasks quickly as they are assigned
Maintain a steady workflow—this is a fast-paced, non-traditional environment
Stay proactive and think ahead to minimize downtime
Adapt to changing priorities with a positive, team-first attitude

Compensation & Details:

PAY: $50/hour starting pay
TYPE: Full time, long term 1099 Contract position.
HOURS: Monday - Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, 40+ hours weekly, paid weekly
One week’s paid vacation per year
Opportunity to grow with a highly skilled and motivated team
We are tobacco and vape free

Preferred (not required) Experience:

Class A CDL
Fabrication experience
Leadership experience
