Full Job Description

Standard Contracting & Engineering, Inc.

Project Manager - Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects concurrently varying in size for multiple clients.
Work with clients to ensure project needs are met.
Work with field supervision to make sure projects are completed on time, on budget, and per scope.
Make sure projects are completed safely, meeting both company and client safety needs.
Perform quantity take off estimating
Create accurate quantity take off for potential projects.
Create proposals for potential projects.
Manage all job costs, billing, and other contract needs related to your projects.

Skills & Qualifications

Ability to communicate with project managers and estimators internally and customers/subcontractors externally.
Knowledge of industrial construction estimating involving multiple trades (steel, concrete, excavation, demolition, general trades).
Industrial construction experience (e.g. steel mills, automotive plants, chemical factories, heavy manufacturing) a plus.
Able to fill out proposals and comply with varying customer bid forms.
Able to work independently.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office as well as a general understanding of technology.
Must be detail oriented.
Experience in Northeast Ohio construction industry is a plus.
A degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent is preferred.
Prefer at least 5 years of experience.
