Receptionist
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, families, and vendors in a long-term care setting. This role provides administrative and clerical support while maintaining a welcoming, professional, and secure environment. The Receptionist plays a key role in communication, safety, and visitor management.
Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist residents, families, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner
Answer and route incoming phone calls efficiently and accurately
Maintain visitor sign-in procedures and support security protocols
Provide general information regarding the facility while maintaining confidentiality
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, copying, mail distribution, and data entry
Communicate promptly with nursing, administration, and other departments as needed
Monitor lobby and common areas to ensure a safe and pleasant environment
Maintain resident and employee confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Respond appropriately to emergency situations per facility procedures

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional demeanor with a positive and compassionate attitude
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living setting
Knowledge of basic office equipment and computer applications
Familiarity with healthcare privacy and confidentiality standards
