Job Overview
Valley Foot & Ankle Specialty Providers is seeking a dependable, patient-focused Spanish-Speaking Physical Therapy Aide to join our growing rehabilitation team on a part-time basis. The Physical Therapy Aide plays an important role in supporting licensed Physical Therapists while helping create a positive and efficient experience for every patient who visits our clinic.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting, and takes pride in maintaining an organized, welcoming treatment environment. Bilingual candidates who enjoy helping patients feel comfortable throughout their rehabilitation journey are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will support both patient care and daily clinic operations by:
- Assisting patients with therapeutic exercises under the direction of licensed Physical Therapists
- Preparing treatment rooms and therapy equipment before and after patient appointments
- Setting up exercise stations and ensuring equipment is clean, safe, and ready for use
- Supporting patients with mobility and balance activities when directed by the treating therapist
- Preparing therapy supplies, including hot and cold packs, for patient treatments
- Sanitizing treatment tables, equipment, and common areas while maintaining clinic cleanliness
- Monitoring inventory levels and restocking therapy supplies as needed
- Greeting patients and helping create a friendly, professional clinic environment
- Assisting with front office responsibilities, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and other administrative tasks when needed
Patient Care & Clinic Standards
- Follow all clinic policies, safety procedures, and infection control guidelines
- Protect patient privacy by maintaining strict HIPAA compliance
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient rehabilitation environment
- Work collaboratively with therapists and fellow team members to deliver an outstanding patient experience
Qualifications
The ideal Physical Therapy Aide is dependable, organized, and passionate about delivering excellent patient service.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Aide, Rehabilitation Technician, or similar healthcare support role is preferred but not required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient setting
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working directly with patients of all ages
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
