Duties

Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow from food preparation to service delivery across all dining and catering functions
Lead menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation standards aligned with fine dining expectations
Manage inventory control, procurement, and food cost management to optimize resources while maintaining high-quality standards
Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and efficient team
Enforce strict adherence to food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with precision in timing, presentation, and service quality
Monitor food production processes, ensuring consistency in taste, portion control, and presentation while minimizing waste
Implement continuous improvement initiatives in kitchen operations to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments and catering services
Proven supervisory experience managing kitchen teams within high-volume settings
In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, sanitizing procedures, and HACCP protocols
Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and cost control strategies
Experience with banquet operations, event catering, and shift management in restaurant or hospitality settings
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
Familiarity with food handling regulations, dietary department procedures, and hospitality industry best practices
Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for culinary innovation and guest satisfaction
