Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)Full-Time & Part-Time W-2 Telehealth Positions

Courage Counseling, LCSW, P.C. is a growing, therapist-owned private practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals, couples, and families throughout New York. We believe that when clinicians feel supported, valued, and empowered, they are able to provide the highest quality care to their clients.

We are currently seeking dedicated Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to join our team in full-time or part-time W-2 telehealth positions. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians seeking the flexibility of working remotely while being part of a collaborative and supportive practice.

Compensation

$45–$55 per completed clinical session, based on experience and licensure
Consistent referral stream to support caseload growth
Flexible scheduling with daytime, evening, and weekend availability

Position Responsibilities

Conduct mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing clinical documentation standards to determine client needs and treatment goals.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices exclusively through a secure telehealth platform.
Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with New York State regulations. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for clinical confidentiality policies.
Document all patient interactions timely and accurately within the electronic medical record, adhering to medical documentation standards including CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding for diagnoses.
Provide crisis management support for individuals experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma-related distress while maintaining safety protocols and working within clinical confidentiality policies as needed.
Participate in supervision and clinical consultation as appropriate.

Qualifications

Active New York State LMSW or LCSW license required
Ability to provide telehealth services to clients located throughout New York State
Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
Experience with electronic health records and telehealth platforms preferred

Professional Liability Insurance

Clinicians are required to maintain their own individual professional liability insurance throughout their employment. Courage Counseling also maintains practice-level professional liability coverage for all employed clinicians.
