Full Job Description

At Buena Vista Drug, we are building a pharmacy experience for the patient as an individual, not just for another number. At our pharmacy we focus on wellness and work to empower our patients to spend more time living a healthy life so they spend less time visiting their doctors and pharmacy.

We are looking for a great team member who loves helping our customers live their best life and provide exceptional gifts and souvenirs for family and friends. You should enjoy developing relationships with our customers and have a passion for our mission in changing the pharmacy experience and providing services to our customers.

Located in Chaffee County, Colorado this position offers a great way to get involved in a rural mountain town, help improve the health of our community, and live in one of the best areas to experience and take in the beautiful Colorado mountain scenery.

This position is accountable for providing the following result: To provide exceptional, unequaled customer service to any customer entering the pharmacy. This includes but is not limited to: greeting customers, assisting with locating over the counter items, retrieving Rx’s, correctly checking out customers (front end and drive thru), maintaining cleanliness in the front of the business, and correctly following opening and closing procedures in a retail setting.

Requirements:

1. In high school or HS diploma / equivalent or high education.

2. Must be able to be on feet during entire shift.

3. Must be able to kneel, bend at the waist to reach products.

4. Be able to lift weights up to 20-30 pounds.

5. Basic computer skills such as browsing the internet, general computer functions, etc.

6. Must be available to work Saturdays until 4pm.

Standards:

1. Be on time for all shifts.

2. All questions that require professional interpretation or judgment will be directed to the pharmacist.

3. Must be able to adapt and excel in a fast paced environment.

4. Every attempt will be made to help find a solution for the customers’ problem or need.

5. Customers will be greeted with a smile and verbal acknowledgment and thanked for their patronage.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
