Role Summary

Our Columbia, SC 29209 facility is looking for a dedicated and talented Mig Welder/AWS Certified Flux Core professional to become part of our energetic crew. We invite individuals who take pride in their technical precision and welding expertise to apply. You will play a vital part in our production process by executing high-quality MIG welding tasks, all while maintaining strict safety compliance to help us deliver superior results.

Core Duties

Execute MIG and flux core welding procedures across a range of components and materials.
Analyze technical specifications, blueprints, and project drawings to guide your work.
Guarantee that every weld satisfies AWS criteria and specific project mandates.
Verify the integrity of finished welds to help maintain our high standards of quality and compliance.
Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by keeping your workspace tidy and organized.
Work alongside colleagues to ensure we hit our production targets and project timelines.
Provide support in identifying and fixing technical welding challenges.
Engage in continuous professional development to help improve our collective welding capabilities.

Required Skills and Experience

Possession of current AWS certification for MIG and flux core processes.
Demonstrated proficiency in MIG welding stainless steel materials.
Solid background in MIG welding, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of modern welding tools, safety procedures, and technical methods.
Capability to accurately interpret complex technical blueprints and documentation.
Strong focus on precision to help ensure every project meets our quality workmanship expectations.
Effective problem-solving abilities, whether working solo or as a collaborative team member.
Physical capability to handle heavy materials and maintain stamina throughout the shift.
Completion of high school or a GED; extra welding credentials are considered an advantage.
