Full Job Description

Cove 2 Coast Marine is seeking an experienced, results-driven Marine Service Manager to lead our service department and continue building a culture of accountability, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who understands dealership operations, enjoys developing technicians and service advisors, and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-based environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all daily service department operations.
Drive technician productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
Monitor and improve labor gross profit and department KPIs.
Schedule and prioritize customer, warranty, and internal work.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop technicians and service personnel.
Ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards and dealership quality expectations.
Work closely with Parts and Sales departments to maximize customer satisfaction.
Maintain outstanding CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.
Manage warranty administration and manufacturer compliance.
Ensure accurate repair orders, technician documentation, and billing.
Create a culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

5+ years of marine dealership, powersports, or service management experience preferred.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Experience managing flat-rate technicians and improving efficiency.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of Yamaha, Suzuki, Mercury, Honda, or Volvo Penta products is a plus.
Ability to analyze reports and make data-driven decisions.
Computer proficiency with dealership management software.
