Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Breakfast Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes with precision and flair, ensuring every meal meets our high standards for quality, taste, and presentation. Your expertise in food preparation, menu planning, and food safety will contribute to creating a warm, inviting dining experience for our guests. Duties

Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, braising pans, poaching stations, and food processors safely and efficiently.
Follow food safety sanitizing procedures meticulously to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
Assist with menu planning by suggesting new breakfast dishes and improving existing recipes based on guest feedback.
Handle food production tasks including food handling, portioning, plating, and garnishing to enhance visual appeal.
Support dietary department needs by preparing specialized meals that adhere to dietary restrictions or preferences.
Maintain high-volume production standards while adhering to food safety management protocols to ensure timely service.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or catering environment, with a focus on breakfast or brunch service.
Strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation.
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitizing procedures essential for maintaining health regulations.
Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and food handling best practices.
Ability to operate various kitchen equipment efficiently while maintaining safety protocols.
Excellent food service experience with the ability to work quickly under pressure during busy hours.
Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities and dietary department experience is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs.
