Maryland Dispensary Budenter/Receptionist – Now Hiring!

GreenLabs is a leading Recreational and Medical Cannabis Dispensary in Maryland, dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service. GreenLabs has proudly been recognized as Baltimore’s Best Cannabis Dispensary for seven years, thanks to our dedicated staff and loyal patients. As we celebrate our 8th year in business, we’re looking for eager, charismatic, and reliable Budtenders and Receptionists to join our growing team. We offer both part-time and full-time positions for the right candidates.

Employees will receive extensive training on Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA) guidelines, dispensary operations, and cannabis product knowledge.

What We Expect: GreenLabs prides itself on outstanding customer service. We maintain daily guidelines to ensure employees stay focused and attentive. Teamwork and effective communication are essential, as we operate in a small, collaborative environment. While experience with cannabis is preferred, it’s not required — retail sales experience, however, is a must.

Position: Budtender/Receptionist

Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Competitive, hourly plus tips

Responsibilities:

Daily Dispensary Operations: Manage day-to-day tasks, including consulting with patients, answering phones, and educating patients while maintaining compliance with COMAR regulations.
Patient Engagement: Greet patients, answer questions, and provide guidance on cannabis products tailored to individual needs with a positive, upbeat attitude.
POS & Registry Compliance: Check patient profiles against the state tracking system, verify documentation, and ensure compliance with MMCC regulations.
Education & Advocacy: Stay informed on product offerings, consumption methods, and state cannabis laws to educate patients.
Inventory Management: Understand and learn the inventory and point of sale system, assist with product counts, restocking, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Clerical Duties: File important documents and handle other administrative tasks as needed.
Cash Management: Handle cash transactions with accuracy and integrity.
Dispensary Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean and organized, ensuring the store is well-maintained and operates smoothly.
Flexibility in Roles: Be willing to rotate through all dispensary positions, including front desk, budtender, scale, and front door.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with team members and managers to deliver exceptional service and address patient concerns.
Security & Safety: Follow all safety protocols and ensure patients and staff adhere to state-mandated security measures.
Adaptability: Execute dispensary protocols and take on other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

Must be 21 or older.
Pass a state-required criminal background check.
Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
