About Us

Bargain Dumpster is a growing nationwide dumpster rental company focused on providing exceptional customer service and efficient operations. We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team and help keep our financial records accurate and up to date.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper who is proficient with QuickBooks Online and enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment. This is an on-site position for approximately 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule during normal business hours.

Responsibilities

Manage daily bookkeeping activities in QuickBooks Online
Record and reconcile bank and credit card transactions
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare customer invoices and vendor payments
Reconcile monthly bank statements
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Work with management to prepare financial reports
Help ensure accounting records are complete and accurate
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

Required

Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience
Strong experience using QuickBooks Online (required)
Experience with bank reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial information

Preferred

Experience with payroll processing
Experience working with small businesses
Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience

Schedule

Approximately 20 hours per week
Monday through Friday
Flexible schedule during business hours
On-site in our Columbia office

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay based on experience
Paid training
Opportunity for additional hours as the company continues to grow
