Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service while managing a dynamic team of culinary professionals. Your leadership will ensure smooth kitchen workflows, exceptional dining experiences, and efficient inventory control. Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen activities, ensuring all food preparation and presentation meet high-quality standards.
Lead and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.
Manage inventory levels, control food costs, and oversee food ordering to optimize resources and minimize waste.
Implement and uphold food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas.
Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and catering arrangements to deliver innovative culinary offerings.
Oversee shift management, coordinate staff schedules, and ensure efficient staffing coverage during peak hours.

Requirements

Proven experience with a strong background in food production.
Demonstrated supervising experience with a track record of managing teams as a kitchen leader.
Extensive knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, dietary department standards, and kitchen management best practices.
Strong skills in inventory management, cost control, menu planning, and food handling within the food industry.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management, shift coordination, and fostering a hospitality-driven culture.
Hands-on experience with food service management, catering operations, and restaurant management is highly desirable.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments requiring multitasking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
