Full Job Description

JOB TITLE: Monitor Tech

DEPT: Telemetry

LOCATION: Maury Regional Medical Center - Columbia, TN

SHIFT: Full-time, Nights

JOB SUMMARY:

A monitor technician is responsible for monitoring the patients cardiac rhythm, documenting both the pt’s rhythm, changes in the pt’s rhythm, and rate changes. Notifies nursing staff of changes in pts cardiac rhythms and heart rates. Works in a team responsibly and independently without direct supervision. Records observations and activities. Good communication skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred

1 Year Related Experience Preferred
