- Perform welding tasks on metal components using MIG, TIG, stick, and Flux Core welding techniques
- Perform Flux Core welding on structural and fabricated metal components according to job specifications
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and specifications
- Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and aligning parts
- Inspect welds for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain and clean welding equipment and tools
- Record and report any issues or discrepancies in welding tasks

Job requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
- Previous welding experience required
- Flux Core welding experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of different welding techniques and materials
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work safely and follow safety protocols
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Background check and drug test required
