Non-Negotiable Requirements

Applicants must meet all the following:

At least 5+ years of consistent salon experience as a licensed Cosmetologist
Proficient in blowouts, cuts, color, and treatments
Must have basic knowledge of formulating professional hair color, not beauty supply store box color.
Able to work with all hair textures
Consistent work history, no inconsistent work history gaps
Ability to pass a background check
Must be comfortable sharing work on social media and promoting the salon
Must be able to work in a fast paced salon
Work well under pressure

This is not a beginner position.

Services You’ll Provide

Stylists at Plush Rose are expected to perform all services confidently and efficiently, following our time standards:

Blowouts and finishing services
Haircuts and trims
Color services
Treatments
Clip-in and tape-in extensions

All services are performed according to Plush Rose standards to ensure a consistent, elevated client experience.

Schedule

Minimum 16 hours per week, with weekend availability required, hours to increase with demand of services
Overtime paid for hours worked over 40 per week
Consistent scheduling, no unpredictable hours

Compensation

Starting pay: $25.00 per hour, plus tips
Cash tips earned daily; credit card tips appear on your paycheck
Tips are on top of your pay, never included in earning potential
Productivity bonuses and paid training
PTO available

Social Media & Skills Demo

During the interview process, applicants will be asked to showcase skills and perform a short demo on one client or a paid Demo day in the salon.
