Full Job Description

Overall Responsibility: Estimate and coordinate the scheduling all phases of projects while supervising commercial, industrial or residential electricians and apprentices as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Estimate, plan and coordinate commercial, industrial and/or residential projects
Prepare change orders as necessary
Return customers’ phone calls promptly and efficiently
Schedule all phases of projects
Work as a liaison between owners, architects, engineers, general contractors and company electricians
Troubleshoot and solve problems that arise during all phases of projects
Coordinate the preparation of submittals and close out documents with Assistant Project Managers and Project Assistants
Visit job sites as necessary to instruct, evaluate and supervise service electricians and apprentices
Interview and hire electricians and helpers as necessary
Conduct weekly safety meetings
Attend educational seminars (electrical expos, OSHA, Fire Alarm, etc.)

Physical Requirements:

Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions.
Must be capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Must have good visual acuity and be able to distinguish basic colors and shades of colors for machine operations (including inspections), close assembly, clerical and administrative duties. This is a minimum standard for use with those whose work deals largely with preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, transcription, computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, operation of machines (including inspection), using measurement devices, assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

Work Environment:

Activities occur both inside and outside.
Team member is subject to temperatures ranging from below 32 degrees in the winter to above 100 degrees in the summer.
Team member is subject to a noise level that sometimes requires shouting in order to be heard above the ambient noise level.
Team member is subject to hazards that include a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals, vibration or exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body.
Team member is subject to one or more of the following atmospheric conditions that affects the respiratory system or skin: fumes, odor, dusts, mists, gasses or poor ventilation.
Team member is subject to oils: there is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
