Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role

Gregory Construction is seeking a professional, organized, and dependable Receptionist to join our team in Columbus, Mississippi.

As the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and guests, the Receptionist plays an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience at our office. This position also provides administrative and office coordination support to help keep daily operations organized and running efficiently.

The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and committed to providing excellent service to employees, visitors, and external partners.

What You'll Do

Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
Manage visitor sign-in and sign-out procedures and issue visitor badges.
Notify team members of guest arrivals and coordinate visitor needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
Assist with data entry, filing, document management, scanning, and document preparation.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
Assist with scheduling meetings, booking conference rooms, and preparing meeting materials.
Monitor and order office supplies and maintain inventory of company pro shop items.
Coordinate with HR regarding employee-related supply needs.
Assist the Administrative Manager with procuring and setting up IT equipment for new hires.
Support basic device setup, including logins, software installation, and coordination with IT vendors.
Follow company and OSHA safety policies and help maintain a safe, professional office environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Professional and courteous customer-service skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional presence.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented office environment.
