Salary: $35 per hour based on experience and duties
Full Time/Part Time: Part-Time; 24 hours guaranteed per week, overnight hours

This busy, dual-physician Columbus family is excited to welcome their first baby and is looking for a trusted overnight nanny to support them during this special new chapter. Their home is thoughtful, creative, and full of personality, with shared interests in gardening, reading, cooking, music, and the occasional video game. They also have two guinea pigs in the home, though no pet care is required. For the animals’ safety, the nanny would not be able to bring any pets into the home. The family enjoys a blend of history, antiques, classic literature, skincare, music, and quiet hobbies that make their home feel personal and inviting. Music is also meaningful to them, with piano and violin being part of their lives when time allows. Their baby will be their first child, and while not required, a nanny who speaks Chinese would be a wonderful bonus as they hope to honor that part of the family’s culture. This family requires care every other week, but are willing to guarantee 24 hours on the weeks the nanny is not needed.
The family is seeking a safe, steady, and trustworthy overnight nanny who is confident caring for a newborn and can provide calm, attentive care while the parents are working or resting. The ideal candidate is kind, dependable, and able to stay composed during overnight newborn needs, including feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and helping the baby settle back to sleep. Safety is the family’s highest priority, and they would love someone with CPR training, infant choking response knowledge, up-to-date vaccines, and basic comfort with newborn health and medical awareness. This role is best suited for a nanny who brings warmth, patience, and good judgment, and who understands the importance of creating a secure, nurturing environment during the earliest months. Above all, the family wants to come home to a healthy, well-cared-for baby and to feel complete peace of mind knowing their child is in capable, loving hands.
