Full Job Description

The Administrative Professional 4 is a critical role within the Commission. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Serving as the Executive Assistant to the Director, including scheduling board and external meetings, managing confidential matters, and providing administrative support to the Commission and staff.
Overseeing, planning, and implementing the Minority Health Month Program, conferences, and workshops.
Coordinating information for the Commission’s website, listserv, social media platforms, and newsletter, including updating content and running analytics.
Using and maintaining the electronic grant management system for grantee files and tracking.
Performing fiscal-related duties, including processing and maintaining documents related to external bid development, purchasing supplies, and overseeing equipment and asset management.

Qualifications

30 months experience or 30 months training in secretarial/administrative professional field.

OR completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college AND 12 months experience in secretarial/administrative professional field.

OR 12 months experience as Administrative Professional 2,16872.

OR equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

Job Skills: Administrative Support/Services

Supplemental Information

Unless required by legislation or union contract, salary will be set at the lowest rate of the salary range with gradual increases in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code or OCSEA/AFSCME Collective Bargaining Agreement.
