Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE& S (Health, Safety, Environment & Security) Advisor to champion safety excellence across our production facility. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that ensure compliance with all relevant construction workplace safety regulations and standards. Your expertise in occupational health, risk management, and safety management will foster a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with the management teams to identify hazards, enforce safety protocols, and promote a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.

Duties

1. Processes – Build line management understanding of safety processes
2. Capability: Leverage HSE expertise to support own unit and others
3. Delivery: Guide line management to deliver HSE policy, set the culture and manage hazards
4. Improvement: Act as a role model for HSE compliance and commitment
5. Strategy: Contribute to delivery HSE strategy in own unit
Other: Perform field HSE tasks and functions as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HSE&S/engineering or related discipline
5 years + experience
Previous experience in processes involving hazardous materials and understanding of related regulations preferred

Management/general skills:
 Strong strategic and conceptual skills with ability to execute and follow through;
 Positive influencing: ability to convince others, gain agreement or acceptance of plans, activities and ability to move others willingly towards a desired goal or course of action;
 Ability to drive continuous improvement of the processes, policies, standards;
 Able to work in an inclusive way in the HSE community to make sure the business experiences ‘one voice’ and the teams’ collective objectives are met;
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, entrepreneurship, result oriented, negotiation, problem solving, project management;
 Very good verbal and written English language skills;
 Relevant experience in similar units, disciplines, locations and/or other companies;

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
