WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
TECH 1 - $27 ($29.50 2nd/3rd shift)
- Works under close supervision
- Day-to-day task oriented; provides general labor for projects
- Under direction of more senior technician, ensures adherence to preventative maintenance schedule
- Learns department production process
- Performs minor troubleshooting on visually obvious problems
TECH 2 - $28.25 ($30.75 2nd/3rd shift)
- Works under moderate supervision
- Primarily day-to-day task oriented; may be involved in project work
- Relies on instruction and predetermined guidelines for most activities
- Performs basic troubleshooting and repair work
TECH 3 - $29.25 ($31.75 2nd/3rd shift)
- Works under minimal supervision
- Identifies, schedules, and manages some
- improvements and group activities
- Uses independent judgment on a regular basis
- Performs moderately complex troubleshooting and repair
- May mentor lower-level technicians
TECH 4 - $30.50 ($33.00 2nd/3rd shift)
- Carries out complex assignment with little or no supervision
- Leads assigned projects
- Independently resolves problems; troubleshoots complex issues, exercises independent judgment and makes necessary repairs on a routine basis
- Acts as liaison between own and other departments
- May train lower Level Technicians
- Communicates with vendors and outside contractors as necessary to ensure quality outcomes
TECH 5 - $33.35 ($35.85 2nd/3rd shift)
- Carries out complex assignment with little or no supervision
- Plans, leads and evaluates assigned projects
- Independently resolves problems; troubleshoots complex issues, exercises independent judgment and makes necessary repairs on a routine basis
- Acts as liaison between own and other departments
- Develop and Implement Training plans for lower-level Technicians
- Communicate with vendors and outside contractors as necessary to ensure quality outcomes
Communicate with customers, prioritize departmental work

HOW YOU WILL QUALIFY:
TECH 1
- Ability to learn fundamentals of repair and troubleshooting.
- Little independent decision-making follows direction from higher level technicians and seeks assistance with all but routine issues.
- Minimum of 1-year technical experience.
TECH 2
- Ability to independently identify and repair problems of a minor and non-complex nature
- Ability to apply fundamentals of basic repair and troubleshooting with limited assistance
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of department production processes
- Acceptable performance
- Minimum of 2 years technical experience
TECH 3
- Ability to independently identify and repair Problems of a moderately complex nature
- Applies knowledge of repairs and troubleshooting with minimal guidance
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of department processes
- Acceptable performance
- Minimum of 3 years technical experience or
TECH 4
- Ability to identify and repair problems of a complex technical nature
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of departmental job specific processes
- Proficient in all aspects of equipment operation and repair
- Acceptable performance
- Minimum of 4 years technical experience
TECH 5
- Ability to identify and repair problems of a complex technical nature
- Proficient in all aspects of departmental job specific processes
- Lead projects with ability to direct lower-level Technicians
- Exceptional performance rating for at least 1 year
- Minimum of 8 years SUS technical experience preferred
- 2 Year Degree is equivalent to 1 year experience and 4 Year Degree is equivalent to 2 years’ experience. necessary
- Communicate with vendors and outside outcomes
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- General Office Environment (1) hours per day.
- Manufacturing Environment (7) hours per day.
- Overnight travel may be required for training.
- Required to work overtime (unplanned and unscheduled) to meet customer or internal deadlines and requirements.
HAZARDS:
- While performing the job the position is frequently exposed to moving or mechanical parts.
- Moderate noise levels with specific areas required to wear hearing protection.
- Equipment, electric shock, conveyors and chemicals.
- Approximately 2 hours per day bending.
