Sourcing Analyst, Office of Contract Sales and Estimating, PN 20049580

What you will be doing:

Soliciting and evaluating project proposals

Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations

Processing contracts and documentation

Maintaining financial and administrative records

Updating the contracts website and responding to inquiries

Performing general office duties as assigned

Organizing and retaining records

Using computer programs for daily tasks

Collaborating with coworkers

Providing customer service

Qualifications

18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in purchasing/procurement/sourcing.

Or completion of associate core program in public or business administration, purchasing/procurement, materials management, contracting, acquisition management, logistics, strategic procurement, purchasing management, supply chain management or other sourcing related field.

Or 6 mos. exp. as Sourcing Associate, 64511.

Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above

Supplemental Information

ALL ANSWERS TO THE SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUPPORTED BY THE WORK EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION PROVIDED ON YOUR CIVIL SERVICE APPLICATION.

All bargaining unit and exempt new hires to ODOT must serve a one year probationary period.

The selection process for this position will include a structured interview. Candidate responses to the interview questions will be scored and the selection will be made in accordance with the OCSEA/AFSCME Contract.

This position is overtime eligible based on FLSA Standards.

If this position is filled internally, the wage rate will be determined in accordance with the contract.

Background Check:

The final candidate selected for this position will be required to undergo a criminal background check. An individual assessment of an applicant's prior criminal convictions will be made before excluding an applicant from consideration.
