This close-knit Hilliard family is excited to welcome a nanny who will become a trusted extension of their home. Family is a central part of their lives, with grandparents and extended relatives nearby. They value connection, consistency, and a strong support system. They enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, going to the zoo, staying active, and being involved in their church community. Their 4-year-old is imaginative, kind-hearted, and loves pretend play, animals, learning, and school. Their 2-year-old is energetic, affectionate, adventurous, and loves keeping up with an older sibling through park outings, climbing, swinging, and active play. The family also has a sweet, low-maintenance Cocker Spaniel who may need to be let outside during the day and received medication mid-day.. This is a warm, thoughtful household with two curious children and a flexible seasonal schedule that offers a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who enjoys variety, play, and meaningful family connection.
The family is seeking a patient, caring, and dependable nanny who genuinely enjoys engaging young children through play, learning, and adventure. The ideal candidate will bring a calm and steady presence while supporting two different developmental stages: encouraging imagination, emotional regulation, and independence for the older child, while offering patience and reassurance as the younger child adjusts to a new caregiver. Because both children are active, curious, and love exploring, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys outings, outdoor play, pretend play, zoo visits, reading, and hands-on activities that support growth and confidence. The family would love someone who communicates well, builds trust over time, and feels comfortable becoming a consistent, loving presence in the children’s lives. Flexibility is important, as the schedule shifts seasonally, with increased coverage needed January through April and lighter care during school breaks and summer. Above all, they hope to find someone kind, reliable, and excited to become part of their family’s rhythm.
