Job Summary

Job Summary:

The Banquet Supervisor oversees the setup, service, and breakdown of events to ensure guest satisfaction and operational effiency.

Core responsibilities:

Oversee the setup of banquet areas according to event orders, ensuring proper furniture, equipment, and table settings. This involves coordinating with other departments like the kitchen and bar.
Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients and guests, answering questions and fulfilling special requests to ensure a positive experience.
Ensure food and beverages are served according to established standards and in a timely manner. This includes monitoring cleanliness and presentation of food, china, glassware, and silverware.
Maintain a safe and sanitary environment, ensuring all staff follows safety procedures, uses proper equipment, and reports any accidents or hazards immediately.
Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate logistics, and pay close attention to detail.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and ensure guest satisfaction.
A proactive approach to troubleshoot issues that may arise during an event.
Availability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
At least two years of banquet, hospitality, or a related supervisory role is preferred.
