Audio Engineer/Editor
Location: Plain City, Ohio (On-site) Office is 5 minutes from the 270 Columbus Loop

At Discovering the Jewish Jesus, we produce impactful media content that airs nationally on Christian television and radio—and reaches millions more through YouTube, social media, podcasts, and digital platforms. With a heart for evangelism and a focus on the Jewish roots of the Christian faith, our team is passionate about delivering powerful, gospel-centered content with excellence.
We’re looking for a full-time Audio Engineer and Content Editor who is not just technically capable but also aligned with our mission. In this role, you’ll help bring the vision of our producers to life-editing and mixing radio broadcasts, short-form features, and television audio, as well as maintaining excellence across all stages of production. You may travel with us throughout the United States and internationally occasionally to capture or troubleshoot on-location ministry events. What You’ll Do:
Edit and Distribute Weekly TV & Radio Content
- Mix audio for our television programs
- Edit and adapt Television episodes into radio-format content
- Record and time voice-overs from the host of the Radio/Podcast program
- Assemble and mix the weekly radio show from the TV teaching
- Collaborate closely with, and take direction from, the Audio Producer
Edit and Produce Daily Audio Content
- Help steward how the ministry’s message is communicated across broadcast and digital platforms through thoughtful audio editing.
- Collaborate with the producers to ensure content is clear, compelling, and aligned with the voice and mission of Discovering the Jewish Jesus.
- Edit & mix long-form teaching episodes
- Record, edit, and mix short-form features for radio and podcast
- Follow existing creative direction and producer notes
- Work closely with the team to maintain audio consistency and message clarity
- Mix audio for digital content such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and more
Capture Ministry in Action (travel occasionally)
- Assisting the Director of Photography in capturing on-location audio and video
- Run the in-studio audio board and handle audio setup for off-site environments
- Operate the audio board for in-studio livestream productions
- Travel to conferences, events, and mission trips (domestic and international)
- Help record authentic ministry moments and live interactions

- Are detail-oriented and take direction well
- Are team-focused and adaptable in a dynamic production environment
- Bonus: Have experience operating livestream systems and/or audio mixing consoles, especially with consoles such as Behringer X32, Midas M32, Yamaha TF/QL series, Allen & Heath SQ series, Soundcraft Si series, or PreSonus StudioLive.
