EP Lab RN – Columbus, OH | Days | 4x10s | Up to $3,000/Week

Location: Columbus, OH
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Days | 4x10s | 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Positions: 3
Local Candidates: Accepted at the same rate

Pay

Weekly Pay: Up to $3,000/week
Blended Rate: Up to $75/hour
Taxable Rate: Up to $45/hour
Travel Stipend: Up to $1,200/week
Local Rate: $75/hour

Position Highlights

Travel EP Lab RN
Day shift
4x10-hour shifts
40 hours/week
2 years of RN experience required
First-time travelers accepted
EP Lab experience required
ACLS and BLS required
Epic experience required
Call required: 1 week of weekday call every 2 months
1 weekend of call every 2 months
1–2 holidays on call per year
Adults, geriatrics and adolescents
6-room EP Lab
Daily census approximately 22
No floating required

Cardioversion
Pacemaker Insertion
AICD Insertion/Programming
Watchman Procedure
Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure
Cardiac Implant Closure Devices
Pacemaker/Defibrillator Lead Extraction/Removal
Baseline Measurements
Activated Clotting Time (ACT)
Sheath Removal/Monitoring
Vascular Closure Systems
Scrub Procedures
IV Therapy
IV Infusion Pumps
Starting and Maintaining IVs
Blood Product Administration

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS
Active Compact or Ohio RN License required at submission

Call Requirements

Weekday call: 1 week every 2 months
Weekday call hours: 6:30 PM–7:00 AM following regular shift
Weekend call: 1 weekend every 2 months
Weekend call consists of 24-hour coverage
1–2 holidays on call per year
Call volume is generally low
Most call-ins are for pacemaker cases and typically last approximately 2 hours

Additional Information

Maximum RTO: 2 requests
RTO must be submitted with the candidate
Strict compliance deadline: Tuesday prior to start
Ohio fingerprinting must be completed urgently after contract signing
Candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance may need to travel to Ohio for fingerprinting
Candidates at extreme distances may receive a fingerprinting packet by mail
2 professional references required
At least 1 reference must be from a manager/director/supervisor
Charge RN acceptable as second reference
No coworker references accepted
Former Ohio State employees must be away from the facility for at least 6 months
Current Ohio State employees are not eligible for travel assignments
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
COVID vaccine not required
Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only
