Full Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure menu items are prepared to the highest quality, manage inventory and ordering, create staff schedules, and provide ongoing training as needed. Our kitchen staff is already trained in food prep and menu execution, but this role requires basic Spanish communication skills to continue training and working effectively with the team. While experience in menu development is a plus, it is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all menu items are prepared to the highest quality and consistency.
Manage inventory, track supplies, and place orders as needed.
Create and maintain kitchen staff schedules.
Work closely with the kitchen team, providing ongoing support and training to enhance their skills.
Communicate effectively with staff, using basic Spanish when needed for continued training and operations.
Assist in planning and executing future menu changes and specials (experience in menu development is a plus but not required).

Requirements:

Proven experience in a kitchen management role or similar leadership position.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate in basic Spanish for effective training and kitchen operations.
Experience with inventory management and scheduling.
Leadership skills with a focus on teamwork and staff development.
Passion for high-quality food and kitchen excellence.
