JAG Healthcare Columbus is looking for a CNA Transportation Aide to drive a company vehicle (8 passenger handicap accessible van) to and from medical appointments, activities, and other personalized trips. The CNA Transportation Aide on duty is in charge of loading and transporting residents safely while assisting residents during their doctors’ appointments. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with limited holidays and weekends! The CNA who transports performs direct resident care when they are not doing transportations and scheduling appointments. A phone is provided to use for GPS and scheduling purposes.

Responsibilities:
- Loading and transporting residents
- Assisting residents during appointments
- Coordinating appointments for residents
- Positively interact with residents, staff, and guests
- Act as liaison for our residents during transports
- Assisting residents with personal-care hygiene
- Answers call lights to determine resident needs
- Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding and drinking
- Reports all changes in residents’ condition to supervisor as soon as possible
- Measure and record height and weight, intake and output
- Operate and maintain company vehicles in accordance with safety regulations
- Follow delivery schedules and transport residents to office visits - complete required paperwork, such insurance authorizations
- Communicate effectively with customers, and team members
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a transport driver or similar role
- Certified Nursing Assistant required / Willingness to obtain a CNA license
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to use Google Calendar
- Excellent organization and communication skills
