Waterjet Machine Operator – Amatech Inc.
Location: Columbus, OH
Amatech is looking for experienced Waterjet Machine Operators to join our team! We are looking for candidates who have experience and good expertise with waterjets. This person should also possess qualities such as being a team player, good communication skills, attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

With two manufacturing facilities based in Pennsylvania and Ohio, we quickly and efficiently deliver projects anywhere in North America.
What You’ll Do, Primary Responsibilities:
· Machine Setup / Programming / Operation: Reading drawings, loading programs, setting parameters (pressure and speed), and loading materials. Starting/stopping the machine, monitoring the cutting process, and making real-time adjustments.
· Quality Control: Inspecting cut parts with precision tools (calipers, gauges) to ensure they meet specifications and perform necessary adjustments.
· Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Performing routine checks, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on the machine with the ability to change machine parts when needed.
· Documentation: Assist in completing production logs, parts inventory, and other required paperwork.
· Safety & Housekeeping: Following all safety protocols and keeping work area clean and organized.
Required Experience & Skills:
· Experience operating a waterjet machine required. Experience in a manufacturing setting is helpful and additional technical training or certifications can be a plus.
· Technical: Understanding CAD/CAM software, using measuring tools.
· Attention to Detail: Critical for precision cutting and inspection of cut parts.
· Collaboration: Working with supervisors, engineers, and other shop personnel. Ability to follow instructions, work with your hands, and lift certain weights required.
· On-site work required in Columbus, OH

· Competitive Base hourly pay starting at $20 per hour. “Starting wage negotiable and will be dependent on overall experience and expertise”
