We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credentialing Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage the credentialing process for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your efforts will support our mission by maintaining accurate provider records, facilitating smooth onboarding, and upholding the highest standards of credentialing excellence. Responsibilities
1. Manage overall credentialing and group contracting functions for the agency, including day-to-day administration and relationship management with related groups.
2. Assist in agency accreditation activities, including providing administrative assistance in gathering, completing and submitting forms and other requirements.
3. Manage new provider credentialing and onboarding, working with providers and supervisors to fulfill requirements, including proper licensure, NPPES and CAQH completion, provider documentation, and UMCF specific requirements.
4. Oversee ongoing credentialing, re credentialing, and re attestation activities/updates for providers and practice locations, to ensure data is current and compliant with group contracts, regulatory and other requirements, including but not limited to malpractice insurance, DEA, state licensure, board certification, CAQH, etc.
5. Maintain internal credentialing data in various databases and agency’s electronic health record.
6. Research and assist in revolving internal issues with contracting, billing and scheduling, working collaboratively to accommodate clients and achieve strong reimbursement rate.
7. Perform regular auditing of internal and external provider databases to ensure integrity of provider data.
8. Collaborate closely with the Business Operations Manager, clinical, and intake staff to both identify and address interdepartmental issues with reimbursement and credentialing effectively.
10. Assume any specific duties assigned at the discretion of the administration.
11. Attend staff meetings (once a month – all staff).
12. Schedule and attend supervision (frequency varies, minimum of one time per month).
13. Attend all mandatory training required to satisfy company and licensure requirements (CEU’s, Agency specific, COA required or required by clinical department).
14. Demonstrate an understanding and cultural sensitivity for diverse populations.
15. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications An example of acceptable qualifications (at least one of the following):
Must possess a high school diploma or a GED and 2-5 years’ experience in behavioral health, Medicaid billing.
Ability to pass a Federal and State Fingerprinting Background Check both prior to employment and per the schedule outlined by HR thereafter.
