Scope of Position
The DC Supervisor leads outbound distribution operations to ensure safe, accurate, on-time, and cost-effective order fulfillment. This position oversees hourly team members, drives operational performance, promotes a culture of safety, and ensures compliance. The Supervisor partners with leadership to optimize productivity, labor utilization, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position is responsible for supervision of 20+ associates.
This position reports to the Regional Distribution Manager. This role is onsite and is based in Groveport, OH.
Second Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:30pm to 12am (OT after shift)
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
Leads, coaches, develop, and motivates a team of 20 or more employees in the distribution center.
Builds ownership, accountability, teamwork, inclusion, urgency, and follow-through.
Sets clear expectations for safety, quality, service, productivity, attendance, conduct, and performance.
Provides feedback, recognition, training, coaching, and corrective action in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
Aligns staffing to workload, maintains time and productivity records, addresses concerns promptly, and develops future leaders.
Ensure operational goals are met for productivity, quality, service, and cost.
Oversee shipping activities and maintain accurate inventory at the location level.
Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Standardizes work procedures and creates SOPs to improve efficiency of warehouse operations.
Prepares composite reports for daily key metrics.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or related field and/or equivalent experience.
Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in distribution and supervisory experience managing hourly associates in a high-volume warehouse.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, hold people accountability, and deliver operational results.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of SAP Hana preferred or similar warehouse management system, outbound distribution, order fulfillment, transportation, inventory control, KPIs, Microsoft Office, and operational reporting tools.
Ability to achieve and maintain required material handling equipment certification, including safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, order pickers, or other site-required equipment.

Working Conditions
While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a distribution facility and will perform the majority of your duties in an office environment. You may, at times, be required to be present on the distribution floor and will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. You will be required to work in the office at the Groveport, OH location (Monday – Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.
