Full Job Description

As the Director of Youth Services, you will lead Central Community House’s strategic implementation and sustainable growth of CCH’s out-of-school time programs and initiatives for children and young adults. This leader will be an expert in culturally competent program design, demonstrate experience in managing a portfolio of public and private grants, and establish and maintain strong relationships in the community.

As the Director of Youth Services, you will build a culture of collaboration and trust while leading employees, seasonal staff, and contractors who deliver the “Youth are Central” (ages 5-12) and TRANSIT ARTS (ages 12-21) programs. This role blends program leadership, day-to-day operations, data-informed decision-making, and storytelling outcomes to strengthen impact, support long-term sustainability, and keep programs responsive, effective, and future-ready. As a visible community leader, you will also deepen existing partnerships and build new relationships with organizations, funders, and youth and social service partners.

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred in social work, education, public administration, nonprofit management, youth development, human services, or a related field.
Minimum of five years of relevant experience with measurable success in designing and implementing youth development programs for a nonprofit organization.
Minimum of three to five years of direct supervision/management of full-time staff required. This position is 100% on site.
Proficiency in Excel and MS Office programs required.
Experience in administering and interpreting Social Emotional Assessments required.
Proven ability to actively engage with funders and/or prospective donors during site visits or other public forums.
Demonstrated experience managing compliance and program evaluation for government grants is essential.
Experience managing program budgets, tracking restricted funds, monitoring expenses, and partnering with finance/development staff on grant-funded programs.
Experience with data systems, outcomes tracking, and reporting, including attendance, demographics, participant assessments, program outputs/outcomes, and funder reporting.

What we offer:
