Job Description:

InGenesis is currently seeking an Administrative Professional 3 to work with our client. In this role, you will be taking reports of unclaimed funds and holding these funds for safekeeping and working aggressively to track down the rightful owner.

Job duties

Examines, reviews, verifies and processes claims
Collects background information for validity
Ensures compliance with Unclaimed Fund Laws
Corresponds with claimants and reporting agents
Analyses reports and forms submitted to claims
Processes complex claims with in-depth research
Primary contact person for incoming claimants
Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Must meet ONE of the following:
- Completion of undergraduate core coursework in accounting;
- Two (2) years of experience in accounting; must be recent experience
- Completion of undergraduate core coursework in business administration, economics, computer science or related field with 16 semester hours or 24 quarter hours in accounting;
At least two (2) years of accounting experience; must be recent experience
Strong Computer skills, must be proficient in MS office, specifically Excel
Strong Administrative skills in an office environment.
