Carfagna’s Italian Market & Ristorante is seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to lead one of Central Ohio’s most respected family-owned culinary organizations.

This is more than a kitchen management position. We are searching for a proven culinary leader who understands that the true role of an Executive Chef is to build people, create systems, and inspire excellence every day. Our next Executive Chef will protect the Carfagna family legacy while helping shape its future.

The Opportunity

As Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the overall leadership of our culinary operation, ensuring every guest receives an exceptional dining experience while developing a team capable of delivering consistent excellence every day.

Success in this role requires equal parts chef, teacher, coach, business leader, and culture builder.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing culinary team.

● Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.

● Build systems that create operational excellence through preparation, organization, and accountability.

● Manage food cost, labor, purchasing, inventory, and kitchen productivity to achieve financial objectives.

● Ensure best-in-class sanitation, cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organization.

● Partner closely with restaurant leadership to drive performance, innovation, and guest satisfaction.

● Foster a culture built on professionalism, respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

● Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

● Commitment to excellence in every aspect of the guest experience.
