CVOR Tech Surgical Services – Columbus, OH

Looking for an exciting cardiothoracic technologist role? Join a leading facility in Columbus, Ohio, offering competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and a collaborative team environment. Start Date: 02/23/2026
End Date: 05/25/2026
Shift: 3rd Shift (Evenings/Nights) 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (12 hours)
Hours/week: 36 hours (3 shifts per week)
Employment Type: Temporary/Travel (W-2)
Licensure/Certifications: BLS required
Experience: 5+ years total CST experience, with 2+ years in cardiac & vascular, and 1+ year CVOR experience in a Level I Trauma facility

Pay: $62.47 per hour

What You’ll Do

Assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, and more
Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and equipment
Reprocess and handle cardiovascular/thoracic surgical instruments
Document procedures accurately using EPIC charting system
Support the surgical team as a scrub and circulating technologist
Ensure aseptic techniques and safety protocols are followed throughout procedures
Collaborate closely with the surgical staff during complex cardiac and vascular cases

What You Need
Required:

Active CST license with 5+ years of total CST experience
2+ years in cardiac & vascular specialties
1+ year CVOR experience, preferably in a Level I Trauma facility
BLS certification
Sterile technique expertise, thoracic and vascular skills

Preferred:

Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
Familiarity with EPIC charting system
Flexibility to work PM weekend shifts and call rotations
