Stringer Auto Repair is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our Reynoldsburg team.

What We're Looking For

Is confident diagnosing and repairing vehicles

Can follow an established process without needing constant supervision
Takes ownership when a vehicle is in their bay

Keeps their work area and tools organized
Is dependable and does what they say they're going to do
Wants to continue improving their skills
Can work independently while still being part of a team

We don't expect perfection. We do expect ownership, effort, honesty, and a desire to get better.

What You'll Be Doing

Depending on your experience and skill level:

General automotive repair and maintenance
Steering and suspension
Brakes
Heating and A/C
Electrical diagnosis and repair
Check-engine-light and drivability diagnosis
Engine and cooling system repairs
Vehicle inspections
Accurate documentation of findings
Working with the service team to keep jobs moving through the shop

We want technicians diagnosing vehicles—not guessing and throwing parts at them.

Experience

Previous professional automotive repair experience is preferred.

ASE certifications are a plus, but we're more interested in your actual ability, attitude, diagnostic thought process, work quality, and willingness to learn.

If you're an experienced technician who's tired of bouncing between disorganized shops, or you're currently somewhere you feel like your ability isn't being fully utilized, we'd like to talk with you.
