Full Job Description

Our Technicians are the face of our company. Their actions and results are a direct reflection of who we are and the type of service we provide.

Technicians have complete control of each job. They are responsible for the outcome of each job. They are providing service to two clients. The first is the owner of the damaged property and the second is the insurance adjuster assigned to the claim.

The most successful person in this position will see themselves as a business owner.

The type of service delivered leads to more jobs
Responsible for managing labor costs
In control of all aspects of the project except for actual line item costs
Maintain provided vehicle in great working condition
Maintain provided equipment in great working condition

Mandatory Requirements:

Pass Background Check
Valid Driver's License
No Lifting restrictions
Able to participate in on-call rotation. We are a 24/7/365 emergency service organization. The rotation is typically one week a month.

Pay Information:

Pay is broken into two componentsThe first 40 hours are calculated at hourly rate times regular hours

Overtime is calculated as described below...Any time after 8 hours during a day is paid at 1.5 times your hourly rate.
On Call Bonus of $50 for any new jobs after 5:00 PM.
Any hours worked after Friday 5:00 p.m. and the weekend is paid at 1.5 times your hourly rate.
Training to become a certified IICRC water, mold or fire technician is paid by the company.

Direct responsibilities include:

Water extraction, placement of proper water drying equipment. Sometimes demolition is required which can include, removing carpet and tile, removing laminate and vinyl flooring, detaching cabinets, removing drywall and insulation, etc.
Mold remediation which includes cleaning using a proper antimicrobial agent, demolition of moldy drywall, damaged carpeting, flooring, etc., painting with a mold resistant paint. Respirators and Tyvek suits supplied when required for some jobs.
Fire cleanup - removing debris, removing damaged contents, demolition of fire damaged drywall, flooring, cabinets, etc., helping to pack and unpack contents that we move to our warehouse for off-site cleaning.
Documentation including pictures of before and after for any job.

Pay: $18.50 - $26.00 per hour
