About Us:
Join our team at the newly renovated Fairfield Inn & Suites Columbus OSU, a premier destination for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. This high profile, select-service hotel serves the Columbus market with an excellent location close to downtown, The Ohio State University, and other major attractions. We are seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Agent who is committed to exceeding guest expectations and creating memorable experiences that keep visitors coming back.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. This part-time position is available for 2nd (3-11pm) or 3rd (11pm-7am) shift. The Front Desk Agent will be the first point of contact for guests, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Efficiently check guests in and out, processing payments, and providing key cards.
Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
Assist guests with reservations, room selection, and special requests.
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally, resolving issues to the satisfaction of the guest and hotel.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including lobby and guest service areas.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met and special requests are fulfilled.
Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure the safety of guests and employees.
Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the hotel.
Overnight shift will be required to perform nightly accounting and reporting duties to balance daily transactions. Prepare and deliver daily reports.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality industry preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and hotel management software preferred.
Availability to work weekends and holidays on primarily 2nd or 3rd shift (both shifts available).
