General Construction Laborer (New Builds) Columbus Oh

Pay: $ 14.00 to $16.00 per hour

Job description:VIP Contractor Services LLC is the premier construction cleaning company in Central Ohio. We are hiring motivated construction General Laborer for new build homes. Experience necessary !We are looking for a General Laborer - Entry Level to join our team.Job RequirementsValid drivers licenseProof of insuranceOver 18 year of agePass criminal background check Responsibilities

Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
Must be able to climb ladders and stairs repeatedly throughout the workday.
Must be able to work a minimum of 8 continuous hours in exposed weather conditions.
Ability to see and hear within normal parameters/range.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be a Self-starter.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Load and unload equipment's supplies from trucks.
Provide assistance to form other teams and flat finish teams as needed
Follow directions from supervisors and experienced laborers to ensure project accuracy.
Complete job documentation, including forms and photo submissions
Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous productsand storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis.
Transport materials and equipment from one location to another
Operate manual and power tools and/or industrial equipment
Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures such as scaffolding
Other manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisor
Report any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repair

Qualifications

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods
Strong attention to detail
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience is preferred but not necessary
