Full Job Description

Job Overview

*MUST BE HVAC CERTIFIED*

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our Property Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems and the ability to troubleshoot various equipment issues effectively.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Completes resident service requests (i.e. inspections, light bulbs, air filter swaps, etc.) within a timely manner
Perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical repair, and maintain grounds including trash pick up
Participates in the make-ready completion process
Ensures the community meets the highest exterior aesthetics standards
Works closely with a team of skilled supervisors and technicians
Ensures property maintenance meets company quality standards at all times
Oversees daily operations of the community and ensures that grounds, maintenance, and property are in superior condition
Ensures all work is completed in accordance with all required compliance standards and applicable regulations
Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Work requires the ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
Work requires strong customer service skills
Work requires strong time management skills and the ability to follow directions
Work requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills
Work requires the ability to adhere to and ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed at all times
Work requires strong knowledge and technical skills associated with light carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, and general installations or repairs associated with the make-ready process and punch outs
Work requires one to be available to be on-call as part of the emergency maintenance rotational schedule.
Work requires flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities. The ability to have the flexibility to regularly work outside of normal business hours to meet deadlines if necessary.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Proficient in HVAC/R systems and refrigeration techniques. Minimum of 2 years experience.
Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in appliance repair
Familiarity with HVAC design and schematics
Background in plumbing and property maintenance
Experience as a service technician in the field
Valid driver's license and ability to operate a van
Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration and equipment repair
Understanding of air conditioning systems and their maintenance
Customer Services Skills.

Task Oriented.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
