Full Job Description

CNC Machine Operator / Metal Fabrication Operator

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, plus $2.00/hour shift differential

Shift: 1st and 2nd - 10hr/4 days a week

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated CNC Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC and manual equipment in a manufacturing environment and be committed to producing quality work while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operate CNC and manual machining equipment.
Operate portable pneumatic punching equipment.
Read and interpret basic blueprints and work orders.
Complete daily production and job tracking documentation.
Meet established daily production goals and schedules.
Perform basic preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
Safely operate a forklift.
Assist other departments as needed to support production requirements.

Qualifications and SkillsRequired Abilities

Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Perform basic mathematical calculations, including fractions and decimals.
Safely and effectively operate a variety of manufacturing tools and equipment.
Interpret work orders and production documents.
Meet production schedules and deadlines.
Maintain routine records and documentation.

Knowledge & Experience

Familiarity with metalworking methods, materials, and production processes.
Working knowledge of trade tools and measuring instruments, including:
Tape measures
Calipers
Micrometers
Understanding of manufacturing quality standards and ISO 9001 principles preferred.
Forklift experience preferred.
