WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Providing leadership to Associates through daily supervision and interaction in a complex troubleshooting reactive maintenance environment by:
- Overseeing repairs and preventive maintenance on all injection molding equipment.
- Following preventive maintenance schedules and establishing preventive maintenance procedures.
- Monitoring production in order to reduce machine downtime.
- Promoting a safe and clean working environment.
- Provide leadership to associates through communication of expectations, employee feedback and teamwork.
- Helping to control manufacturing cost by tracking and monitoring machine downtime and reject trends to determine the root cause of the defects.
- Tracking inventory and requisitions of the maintenance supplies.
- Ensuring associates are safely following work instructions ISO procures.
- Determining budget for repair maintenance and ensure that repairs meet budgetary
- Training associates in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting repairs, injection processing and machine awareness in order to properly maintain the equipment.

HOW YOU WILL QUALIFY:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 years’ experience in injection molding manufacturing
- 2 years’ maintenance leadership
- Proficient in MS Office
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- General Office Environment (3) hours per day
- Manufacturing Environment (5) hour per day
- May engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting pushing and pulling of equipment.
- May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required to perform essential functions at remote locations or receive training.
- Required to work overtime (unplanned and unscheduled) to meet customer deadlines and requirements.
HAZARDS:
- While performing the job the position is frequently exposed to moving or mechanical parts.
- Moderate noise levels with specific areas required to wear hearing protection.
