Part – Time Staff Accountant

Part time 20 hours per week

What You’ll Do:

· Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and accurate transaction coding to ensure proper financial recordkeeping

· Prepare and post routine journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month-end close activities

· Oversee the accounting inbox, ensuring timely response, follow-up, and resolution of internal and external inquiries

· Support invoicing, collections efforts, purchase order (PO) administration, and check run processing

· Handle mail sorting, documentation, and maintain organized, audit-ready accounting records and files

· Assist with recurring compliance tasks and support process accuracy across accounting operations

· Partner with the team to ensure financial data integrity and smooth day-to-day workflow

· Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Excel; familiarity with Wrike is a plus but not required

What We’re Looking For:

· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent hands-on accounting experience)

· 2+ years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support role

· Strong understanding of AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced) and experience with accounting systems, preferably QuickBooks Online

· Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment

· Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team

· Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive financial information

· Experience with Wrike or similar project management tools is a plus, but not required
