Full Job Description

Cath Lab Tech – Columbus, OH | Days | 5x8s | Up to $3,200/Week

Location: Columbus, OH
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Days | 5x8s | 7:45 AM–4:15 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Local Candidates: Accepted at the same rate

Pay

Weekly Pay: Up to $3,200/week
Blended Rate: Up to $80/hour
Taxable Rate: Up to $50/hour
Travel Stipend: Up to $1,200/week
Local Rate: $80/hour

Position Highlights

Travel Cath Lab Tech
Day shift
40 hours/week
Monday–Friday
2 years of experience required
Cath Lab experience preferred
First-time travelers accepted
Call required 1–2 nights per week
Weekend call approximately every 3rd–4th weekend
2-room Cath Lab
Adult and geriatric patients
GE imaging equipment
Self-scheduling
24 hours of non-billable orientation
Locals accepted at the same rate

HARD STOP Requirements

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required.

ARRT certification is a hard-stop requirement.

Candidates should have experience with cardiac Cath Lab procedures and familiarity with areas such as:

Additional Information

Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–4:15 PM
Alternative Schedule: 36 hours/week may be considered as four 9-hour days; 3x12s are not available
Call: 1–2 nights per week
Weekend Call: Approximately every 3rd–4th weekend
Weekend call runs approximately Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
Patient ratio: 1:1
Approximately 7 visits/day
2 rooms / 9 beds
Self-scheduling
Maximum 1 RTO request
RTO must be provided with submission and built into the contract
Strict compliance deadline: Tuesday prior to start — no exceptions
Ohio fingerprinting must be completed urgently after contract signing
Two professional references required; at least one must be from a manager/director/supervisor or formal leader
Current employees are not eligible for travel assignments
Former employees must be away from the facility for at least 6 months
COVID vaccine not required
Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only
Locals accepted at the same rate
