ABOUT US
Stanley Electric US is a full-service, tier one supplier to Honda, specializing in the design and production of lighting equipment, accessories, and electronic components. Our London, Ohio facility houses lighting and mold design, construction, production engineering, and dedicated associates in our Quality, Assembly, Sales, and Customer Service departments. At Stanley, we blaze our own trail to a brilliant future by daring to OUTSHINE light.
HOW YOU WILL OUTSHINE:
- Following instructions and Company Policies
- Working at a fast pace while being safe
- Working well independently and with a team
- Willingness to work any shift as needed
- Available for overtime on short notice
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Sign out your PIT vehicle and scan gun according to rules. Follow InfoLink safety check list to confirm good operation of assigned PIT.
- Confirm status of assembly line at beginning of shift to prevent line down time.
- Component amounts to be picked are determined by following the min/max rules displayed at lineside refrigerators (blue signs).
- Line supply shops for these components in a method to allow most efficient runs.
- While shopping, line supply pulls components from refrigerators according to signs posted for FIFO (in/out), FEFO (time dated material) and IPP/abnormal process flow rules. This includes the return of product to stores after a lineside changeover.
- Line supply must use a scan gun to transfer products from stores to their tugger and delivery to lineside refrigerators. Traceability of product serial number is enforced.
- Always keep a clean and safe working environment. Lines must be kept in orderly conditions for stock levels, trash and/or dunnage overflows.
- Must pay close attention to associate pedestrian traffic. Give associates the right away. Always stop at stop signs and follow proper PIT operating requirements. Park in designated locations.
- Line Supply is responsible to remove recycled products from assembly lines. Support SUS recycle program by following designated signs to keep products separated and delivered to appropriate receptacles. Do not cause contaminations of mixed recycled products. Report full recycle compactors or other receptacles immediately.
- Damage to products or any SUS property must be reported as an incident. This also includes safety accidents or injuries involving associates and the PIT driver. Report incidents and all near miss situations immediately to the nearest supervisor.
- Do not interrupt production associates, this may cause a quality or skipped process concern, resulting in a defective part shipped to our customer.
- Confirm end of day status. Shoppers must ensure that the assigned production line has appropriate stock level conditions for the next shift start up. Request overtime when needed. Report any failures to comply before leaving work.
- Each Shopper is responsible to report any conditions immediately to their team leader or coordinator that prevents them from following these guidelines, especially when there is a potential for a line down occurrence or a quality and/or safety concern.
